Your trial ended: what happens to your menu

Your menu stops showing and your dashboard locks, but absolutely nothing is deleted.

Nothing is deleted. Your products, categories, photos, variants and styling stay saved exactly as you left them. When your 7-day trial ends, the only thing that happens is that your menu stops showing to the public until you activate a subscription.

What your customers see

Instead of your menu, anyone who opens your link or scans your QR code sees a short message:

{Your restaurant name} is unavailable This menu is not available right now. Please try again later or contact the restaurant.

No billing notice appears, and nothing reveals that this is a payment issue.

What you see

When you open your dashboard you'll find a subscription notice that can't be dismissed. You can still see your restaurants, but you can't edit the menu until you activate a plan. If you'd rather not continue, you can click "Delete restaurant" in that same notice.

What stays the same when you reactivate

Stays the sameDetail
Your public linkdelimenu.co/your-identifier, unchanged
Your QR codeAlready-printed QR codes keep working. Nothing to reprint
Your full menuProducts, categories, prices, photos and variants, untouched
Your stylingColors, fonts and layout, untouched

Important: the same applies if you cancel later or if a payment fails. Pausing is never deletion.

How to bring your menu back online

  1. Open your dashboard at delimenu.co/dashboard.
  2. In the subscription notice, choose 1 month or 12 months.
  3. Click "Subscribe" and complete the payment.
  4. Wait a few seconds — your menu goes back online immediately.

If the payment doesn't go through, see "Complete payment" and "Pay outstanding invoice" messages.

In the meantime

If you have customers in the restaurant while your menu is paused, keep a printed menu as backup. Reactivating takes under a minute, but you don't want to find that out during a rush.

FAQ

How long do you keep my menu if I don't subscribe? There's no deletion deadline. Your content stays in your account and is republished as soon as you activate a subscription.

I have several restaurants. Do they all pause? No. Each restaurant has its own trial and its own subscription; only the expired one pauses.

Do I need to reprint the QR codes on my tables? No. The QR code points to a stable internal address, so the same code works again once you reactivate.
