Download and print your QR code

PNG, JPG or SVG at 1080 px, and why your printed QR code never stops working.

How to download it

  1. Open your restaurant and go to the "QR code" section.
  2. Under "Download format" choose PNG, JPG or SVG.
  3. Click "Download".

The file is saved as qrcode-delimenu in your chosen format, at 1080 pixels.

Which format to choose

FormatWhat for
SVGFor your printer or designer. Scales to any size without pixelating. This is the one to send to print
PNGFor screens, social media and WhatsApp. Transparent background
JPGSame as PNG but with a white background, if your tool doesn't support transparency

Your QR code never expires

This is the most important thing in this article:

The QR code points to a stable internal address, not directly to your identifier. If tomorrow you change delimenu.co/myrestaurant to delimenu.co/myrestaurant-downtown, every QR code already printed keeps working. Nothing needs reprinting.

The same applies if your subscription expires and you reactivate it later: the same QR code works again.

Where to put it

  • On the tables, which is the main use. A sticker or an acrylic stand.
  • On the counter and in the window, for takeaway customers.
  • At the entrance, so people can see the menu before sitting down.
  • On delivery packaging, for the next order.
  • On flyers and printed ads.

And the written link, not the QR code, in your Instagram bio and your Google Business profile.

Before sending it to print

  • Scan it from the printed proof, not from your screen. It's the only way to catch a size or contrast problem.
  • Leave a white margin around the code: without that space, many cameras won't read it.
  • Don't print it too small. If people have to bring their phone right up to it at the table, it's borderline.
  • Avoid dark or patterned backgrounds behind the code.

Tip: always pair the QR code with a short instruction ("Scan to see the menu") and your written link. There's always someone whose camera won't read QR codes, and that customer needs to be able to type the address.

FAQ

Can I put my logo inside the QR code? Not from Delimenu yet. Your designer can do it from the SVG, but have them verify it still scans afterwards.

I changed the restaurant name. Does the QR code change? No. Neither the name nor the identifier affects an already-printed QR code.

Can I have a different QR code per table? Today there's one QR code per restaurant.
