Invite your team and choose what each person can do

Give other people access to your restaurant without sharing your account, with a role for each one.

If someone else adds the dishes, changes the prices or checks the menu, you don't need to lend them your account: invite them to the restaurant's team and choose what they can do.

Invite someone

  1. Open the restaurant and press "Settings".
  2. In the menu on the left, choose "Team" and press "Invite".
  3. Type their email and choose their role.
  4. Press "Send invitation".

They get an email with the "Accept the invitation" button. The link expires in 7 days; until then you'll see it under "Pending invitations", where you can resend it, copy the link or withdraw it.

To accept, the person signs in to Delimenu with that same email, with Google or a sign-in link. They don't need an account beforehand: it's created when they sign in. After that, the restaurant shows up in their list with their role.

A team can have up to 20 people besides the owner, pending invitations included.

The roles

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerEverything, including billing and deleting the restaurant. It's whoever created it, and it doesn't change.
AdminEverything except billing and deleting the restaurant: the menu, the settings, the AI import, webhooks and the team. Can invite editors and viewers.
EditorThe menu: products, categories, their order, featured items, product photos and promotions.
ViewerSees the menu in the dashboard without changing anything.

To change someone's role, pick another one in the list next to their name. To remove them from the team, press the X: they stop seeing the restaurant right away.

The restaurant's plan

The team uses the restaurant's plan: as long as it has an active subscription or trial, everyone can get in. If it ends, the dashboard is locked for the team too until the owner activates a subscription; only they can pay for it.

AI agents and API

If someone on the team connects an AI agent or creates an API key, that access reaches the restaurants where they're on the team, with the same role: an editor can change the menu, but not the restaurant's settings.
