Set your opening hours

Show on your menu whether you're open, and stop taking orders when you close.

With opening hours on, your menu tells every customer whether you're open right now and when you open or close. Outside your hours, nobody can send you an order on WhatsApp.

How to turn it on

  1. Open your restaurant and tap "Settings".
  2. In the Opening hours card, turn on "Use opening hours".
  3. Check the Time zone. It starts as your device's; if your restaurant is somewhere else, search for it by city.
  4. Adjust each day's hours. When you turn it on, every day starts open from 9:00 to 21:00.
  5. Tap "Save changes".

How to set your hours

  • A day you're closed: turn off that day's switch.
  • Several shifts in one day, such as lunch and dinner: tap "Add hours".
  • Going past midnight: set a closing time earlier than the opening time. For example, open at 18:00 and close at 02:00. You'll see "Closes the next day".
  • Closing at midnight: set 00:00 as the closing time.
  • Open around the clock: tick "Open 24 hours" on that day.
  • The same hours all week: set one day and tap "Copy to every day".

What your customers see

Under your restaurant's name there's a line such as "Open · Closes 10:00 PM" or "Closed · Opens tomorrow 12:00 PM", in the language your customer is reading the menu in.

While you're closed, customers can browse the menu and fill their cart, but instead of the button to send the order they see when you open again.

Frequently asked questions

What if a customer is in another country? Hours are counted in your restaurant's time zone, not the one on your customer's phone.

What happens if I turn off "Use opening hours"? Your menu stops showing hours and takes orders at any time again. The hours you set stay saved for next time.

Can I close just for today or for a holiday? Not yet. For now, change that day's hours and set them back afterwards.
