    New

Your menu in several languages — and Delimenu too

If tourists come to your restaurant, you no longer need a separate menu for them: the same menu can now be read in several languages.

Your menu, in each diner's language

    • Under Settings → Menu languages you choose the Primary language, the one you write in, and turn on up to 3 additional languages.
    • You can choose from Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, German and Italian.
    • You write the translations yourself: when you edit a product or a category there is a tab for each language, with the name, the description, the variants and their options.
    • Anything you have not translated is shown in your primary language, so you can translate little by little.

    What the diner sees

    • The menu opens straight in their phone's language if you offer it. They do not have to look for anything.
    • If they want another one, they switch from a small picker next to the restaurant's name, and their choice is remembered.
    • The QR code and the link are the same as always: there is no code per language.

Orders still reach you in your language

The WhatsApp order is always written in the restaurant's primary language, with your product names exactly as you have them, whatever language the diner was reading in. Nobody in the kitchen has to translate anything.

Delimenu in English, Spanish and Portuguese

    • The site, sign-up and the dashboard are now in all three languages. The dashboard opens in yours, and you can change it from your account, under Language.
    • The emails about your free trial arrive in that same language.
    • The help center and the terms, privacy and cookie policies are in all three as well.

    For those who integrate

The API, webhooks and AI agents read and write translations, so you can ask your agent to translate the whole menu and review it afterwards.

The help center, inside Delimenu and in three languages

Delimenu's help no longer lives on another site. It is now at delimenu.co/en/help, with the same look as the rest of the product.

    • In English, Spanish and Portuguese. All 25 articles are in the three languages, and the help center opens in yours.
    • With search. Type what you need and go straight to the article, without browsing the sections.
    • One click from the dashboard. The Help link in the side menu takes you right there.
    • Ready for your AI assistant. Every article has Copy as Markdown, Open in ChatGPT and Open in Claude, in case you would rather ask your assistant with the article in front of it.
    • Always up to date. The limits and figures the articles quote are taken directly from the product, so they do not go stale when something changes.
    • In light or dark mode, like the dashboard.

My account, Connect with Claude and a missing way out

Three small improvements to the dashboard:

    • My account. You can now change the name you appear under in Delimenu. Press your name in the side menu, or open the user menu on your list of restaurants and choose My account.
    • Connect with Claude. Under Settings → AI agents there is a button that opens Claude with the connection already prepared: you only confirm, with nothing to copy or paste.
    • Deleting a restaurant whose trial has ended. If your free trial is over and you do not want to continue, the subscription screen now includes Delete restaurant. There used to be no way to do it from there.

Webhooks: your system finds out when the menu changes

This one is for whoever connects Delimenu to another system, such as a point of sale, an inventory or an online store. Instead of asking every so often whether something changed, your system can be told the moment it happens. That is a webhook.

    How to set it up

    1. In Settings, find the Webhooks card and press Create webhook.
    2. Enter your system's address, which must start with https://, and choose the Events you want to receive: products and categories created, edited or deleted, and changes to the restaurant's details.
    3. Copy the secret when it appears. It is only shown that once, and your system uses it to check that each notification really comes from Delimenu.
    4. Press Send test to confirm it arrives.

What happens if your system fails

    • If it does not respond, Delimenu retries the delivery several times over about a day.
    • If the failures pile up, the webhook switches itself off. Once your system is fine, turn it back on with Enable.
    • Under History you see the latest deliveries and how your system responded.
    • If you lose the secret, New secret generates another one.

Webhooks are created per restaurant. The technical details are at delimenu.co/en/developers.

Developer API: your menu on your own website or system

If you have your own website, a point of sale, or someone who writes software for your restaurant, Delimenu now has an API: a way for another program to read and edit your menu.

    What it is for

    • Showing your menu on your own website or app, with your design. You keep editing the menu in Delimenu and your site always shows it up to date. Reading the public menu needs no key.
    • Managing the menu from your system: creating and editing categories and products, changing prices and availability, uploading photos and editing the restaurant's details.

    How to get access

    1. In Settings, find the Developer API card and press Create key.
    2. Give it a name that helps you recognise it and choose its Permissions: View the menu or Edit the menu.
    3. Copy the key when it appears. It is only shown that once.

The key works for every restaurant in your account. Under Active keys you see the ones you have, and any of them is switched off with Revoke, instantly. A key never gives access to your subscription or your payment details.

    For whoever writes the code

The full documentation, with every operation and an example ready to copy, is at delimenu.co/en/developers. Everything done through the API changes the menu for real, just like the dashboard does.

AI import: now it works with a photo from your phone

The most natural way to import a menu is to take a photo of it with your phone, and that was exactly the one that failed the most: photos from today's phones are so large that the analysis ran out of time.

    • Large photos are no longer cut off. The image is scaled down on your device before it is uploaded, without losing the legibility of the text, and the analysis is much faster.
    • Long menus get more time. The analysis can now take several minutes before giving up; it used to be cut off in under one.
    • One odd number no longer brings down the whole import. If the AI returns a price or a quantity that does not add up on one product, that value is corrected and the rest of the menu reaches the review.
    • Fixed an error that appeared at the very end, after an analysis that had gone well.
    • The message when time runs out no longer blames the length of your menu if you uploaded a one-page photo.

As always, an import that fails does not cost you an attempt.

Manage your menu by talking to an AI agent

Besides the dashboard, you can now run your menu by talking to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI agent: "raise every price by 10%", "mark the lasagna as out of stock", "create a desserts category with these five products".

    How to connect it

    1. In Settings, find the AI agents card and copy the MCP server URL.
    2. Paste it into your agent, where connectors are added.
    3. The agent takes you to a Delimenu screen where you sign in and press Authorize.

The connection belongs to your account: if you have several restaurants, the agent sees them all and you tell it which one to work on.

    What it can do

    • See your restaurants and the full menu of each one.
    • Create, rename, reorder and delete categories and products, with their prices, promotions, variants and availability.
    • Change several products at once.
    • Edit the restaurant's name, WhatsApp phone, address and currency, and the menu's public address.
    • Set a product's photo, the logo or the banner from the link to an image.

It cannot touch your subscription or delete the restaurant, and it never sees your payment details.

    You are in charge

The agent changes your menu for real, just as if you did it yourself: ask it to confirm with you before deleting anything. Under Active connections you see each connected agent and disconnect it with Revoke whenever you like.

The step by step for each agent is in the help center.

Your menu, in your country's currency

Delimenu no longer assumes every menu is in Colombian pesos. Each restaurant now has its own Currency.

    • When you create a restaurant, the currency of the country you are creating it from is suggested, and you can change it.
    • On a restaurant you already have, you will find it in Settings, next to the rest of the restaurant's details.
    • Prices are shown the way they are written in that currency: $ 12.000 in Colombian pesos, $5.99 in dollars, 12,50 € in euros. The price fields accept cents when the currency uses them.
    • The AI import reads prices in that currency, decimals included.

    Two things worth knowing:

    • Changing the currency does not convert the prices. The numbers stay as they are; only the symbol and the decimals change. If you picked the wrong currency, change it before adding your products.
    • Restaurants that already existed were set to Colombian pesos, which is how they were displayed until now. If yours uses another currency, change it in Settings.

    Improved

Out of stock, Hidden and On sale can now be combined

A product used to have a single state: it was on sale, or sold out, or hidden. If the day's special ran out mid-afternoon, you had to choose which of the two to show.

    Three independent switches

When you create or edit a product there are now three switches:

    • Out of stock: the dish stays on the menu, marked as sold out, and cannot be ordered.
    • Hidden: it does not appear on the public menu.
    • On sale: shows the Original price struck through next to the Sale price.

Combine them as you need. A sold-out special is still a special: when you have it again, turn off Out of stock and it is still there, with its prices. On your dashboard each product carries a label for every state it has on.

    More control over variants

On each variant you can set a Minimum number of options ("choose at least 2 sauces"), a Maximum, and a Maximum per option to decide whether the diner can repeat the same one, like double cheese.

And several fixes to the form

    • A product can no longer be saved with a blank name.
    • The unsaved-changes warning only appears when you really changed something.
    • Line breaks in the description are kept on the menu.

Your products keep the state they had: there is nothing you need to review.

Eight ready-made styles for your menu

Picking six colors, a font and a style from scratch is not for everyone. Now you can start from a combination that already works.

    Preset styles

Under Settings → Appearance, above the settings, there are eight Preset styles: Classic, Coffee shop, Night, Healthy, Ocean, Pizzeria, Elegant and Sweet.

    • Press one and the colors, the font and the style below are filled in with its values.
    • Nothing is published yet: adjust whatever you like and press Save changes.
    • It is a starting point, not a straitjacket. You can change any field afterwards.

Start from the menu you already have

    • When you create a restaurant, the welcome screen offers Import my menu with AI from a photo or a PDF of your menu. If you would rather enter it by hand, choose I'll do it manually. An empty menu offers it too.
    • The import review has a new control, Letter case: if your menu is written ALL IN CAPITALS, you can switch it to Sentence or Title in one go. Anything you correct by hand stays as you typed it.

    Improved

Delimenu, more comfortable on your phone

We went over the public menu and the dashboard on small screens, which is where they are used the most.

    On your menu

    • The Add button is no longer covered by the cookie notice or by the iPhone's bottom bar.
    • The cart and variant buttons are bigger and easier to tap.
    • The category bar no longer makes the page jump when it sticks to the top.
    • The cart's quantity buttons use your menu's color.

    On your dashboard

    • The side menu opens and closes properly on a phone.
    • You can reorder products and categories with your finger.
    • The product list, the forms and the QR code page fit the screen without scrolling sideways.
    • Each category's list shows the price of its products, with the original struck through when they are on sale.
    • A slow load no longer looks like a frozen page: it now tells you it is still working.

    Dashboard search

The search at the top now finds categories too and has an Actions group: Import menu with AI, Copy menu link and View public menu. The Ctrl K shortcut now works on Windows as well.

A cart that tells the truth about what it sends

The cart worked, but it could let a wrong order through without anyone noticing. Here is what changed:

    • If you change your WhatsApp number, orders go to the new one. The cart could keep sending them to the previous number.
    • The diner finds out what changed. If a product in their cart is no longer available, they now see a notice saying so. It used to disappear in silence.
    • The order is checked again right before it is sent, so a price you have already changed does not reach your WhatsApp.
    • Long comments no longer break the order. An order with a lot of text could open a blank tab and empty the cart.
    • The number of products in the message counts units, like the cart does, not lines.
    • A bad connection no longer wipes the cart the diner had saved.

Also, an empty cart now says so and leads back to the menu, and each product is removed with a single tap instead of lowering the quantity one at a time.

    August 27, 2026

    Improved

Ordering no longer needs an extra step

Until now your diner had to find and press a button to go from "viewing the menu" to "ordering" before they could add a single product. That button is gone.

    • If Receive orders on WhatsApp is on, the menu opens ready to order. That switch, in Settings, is the only thing that decides whether diners can order. If it is off, your menu is still a view-only menu.
    • The cart no longer stays out of reach. Someone who reopened your QR code with products saved could find themselves with no way into the cart.
    • Before sending, the menu reminds the diner of the step that loses the most orders: pressing send inside WhatsApp. The confirmation is now a dialog of the menu itself, in your colors.
    • Notices appear at the top, where they do not cover the cart button or the Add button.
    • The cart summary is easier to read, with the total standing out, and its lines no longer collide with the quantity buttons on small screens.

    New

    Perks for your restaurant

The Rewards tab is now called Perks, which says more about what is inside: deals with other tools that help you run the restaurant day to day.

The first one is Bold, for taking payments with a card reader and payment links. For now it is available to restaurants in Colombia.

AI import: more attempts, no more cut-offs

The AI import had two serious problems: it ran out far too soon, and it failed on long menus. Both are fixed.

    • During the trial you go from 1 import to 5. An import is one file, so a single one could not cover a two-sided menu, or a food menu plus a drinks menu, and one bad extraction left you with no retries.
    • With a subscription you go from 5 for life to 10 every month, renewed on the 1st. Before, if you reprinted your menu every season, you ran out of imports for good.
    • Long PDFs are no longer cut off. The analysis was being killed at 15 seconds, and menus with several pages need longer. Worse, it charged you the import and gave nothing back.
    • An import only counts if the analysis finishes. A rejected file or a failed analysis no longer costs you an attempt.

The review screen is better too: the list scrolls on its own, and there is now a single progress notice instead of a flood of notifications.

    August 25, 2026

    New

    You decide on cookies

Delimenu now asks before it measures anything.

    • A notice appears with two options of equal weight: Accept or Decline.
    • Analytics and the advertising pixel only load if you accept. If you decline, nothing loads.
    • You can change your mind whenever you like from the Cookie Policy, and withdrawing consent takes effect immediately.

That same page details exactly what we store and why. Most of it is not cookies: it is your browser's local storage, such as the cart or the language.

    August 24, 2026

    New

    Estimated price in your currency

The pricing card now shows an estimate in your country's currency, next to the price in US dollars.

It is a reference, so you know roughly what you will pay without doing the conversion by hand. The exact amount is set by Stripe at the time of payment, at that day's exchange rate, and when you pay you can choose between your local currency and US dollars.

    Improved · Fixed

    A sturdier menu on mobile

Several fixes to what your diners see:

    • Images no longer go blank. We stopped depending on an external optimization service that could take down every photo at once: menus, dashboard and website.
    • The back button is back on the product page.
    • Switching between viewing the menu and ordering now really responds: before, the address changed but the cart button and the links stayed in the previous mode.
    • Variants can be selected without trouble.

Also, when a form has an error, the page jumps to the first missing field instead of leaving you to look for it.

    August 2, 2026

    New

Your menu, in your brand's colors and typeface

Your public menu no longer has to look like everyone else's. Under Settings → Appearance you decide how your diners see it, with no design skills needed.

    • Colors. There are six, and each one controls one part: Primary color (buttons and the selected category), Text on primary color, Page background, Card background, Text color and Secondary text.
    • Typography. Under Font you have the Google Fonts catalogue, with search and a preview before you choose.
    • Style. The Corner rounding, the Product card style (shadow, bordered, or neither) and the Category navigation style (pills, chips or underline).

Nothing is published until you press Save changes, and Reset to default values takes you back to the original design if you are not happy with the result.

Appearance is set per restaurant: if you have several, each one can have its own.

    August 1, 2026

    Fixed

The cart no longer disappears on reload

Two bugs in the public menu's cart that were costing real orders.

    • The cart emptied when the page was reloaded. If your customer refreshed or went back, they lost everything they had chosen and had to start from scratch. Carts that were already broken in your diners' browsers are recovered too.
    • Products were duplicated. From the third unit of the same dish, the cart split it into two separate lines. Now they are grouped as they should be.
