Manage your menu from Claude, ChatGPT or another AI agent

Connect an AI agent to your account and edit categories, products and prices by chatting.

Besides the dashboard, you can manage your menu by chatting with an AI agent: ask it to raise every price by 10%, mark a dish as out of stock, or create a new category with its products. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and any agent that supports the MCP protocol.

Important: the agent acts on your menu for real. Every change it makes shows on your public menu exactly as if you had made it from the dashboard. Ask it to confirm before deleting anything.

How to connect your account

  1. Open your restaurant and go to "Settings".
  2. Find the "AI agents" card and copy the MCP server URL: https://delimenu.co/api/mcp.
  3. Paste that URL into your agent:
    • Claude: press "Connect with Claude" on that same card and confirm in the window that opens, with nothing to paste. Or do it by hand: Customize › Connectors › Add custom connector.
    • ChatGPT: Settings › Connectors › Create.
    • Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http delimenu https://delimenu.co/api/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.
  4. The agent will take you to a Delimenu screen to sign in and authorize the access. You will see which application is asking and what it will be able to do.
  5. Press "Authorize". Done: the agent can now see and edit your menus.

The connection belongs to your account, not to one restaurant: if you have several, the agent sees them all and you tell it which one to work on.

What the agent can do

  • See your restaurants and the full menu of each one.
  • Create, rename, reorder and delete categories.
  • Create, edit, move between categories, reorder and delete products: name, description, price, previous price (promotion), Out of stock, Hidden and variants.
  • Change several products at once, for example raising every price.
  • Edit the restaurant's name, WhatsApp phone, address and currency.
  • Set or remove a product photo, the logo and the banner from an image URL (JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 5 MB).
  • Change the menu identifier, that is, its public address.

What it cannot do: manage your subscription or delete the restaurant.

Permissions and how to revoke them

When you authorize, the agent is allowed to view and edit your menu. You can disconnect it whenever you want:

  1. Go to "Settings" › "AI agents".
  2. Under "Active connections", press "Revoke" next to the agent.

From that moment the agent no longer has access, even if it is still configured in your application. To use it again you will have to authorize it again.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an active plan? Yes. The agent can only manage restaurants with an active subscription or free trial, just like the dashboard. If a restaurant has no plan, the agent will tell you.

Does the agent see my password or my payment details? No. Delimenu uses no passwords, and the authorization happens on a Delimenu screen: the agent only receives a permission you can revoke. It never sees your billing.

I asked it to change a price and it entered a strange figure. Prices are written in the restaurant's currency as you see them on the menu: 12500 is $ 12.500 pesos, 5.99 is US$ 5.99. If the agent gets confused, tell it which currency the menu is in.

Can I connect several agents? Yes. Each one appears as a separate connection and is revoked separately.

Does it work with other tools? With any application that supports remote MCP servers with sign-in (OAuth). If yours asks for a "client ID", choose the automatic registration option.
