Design, QR & public menu

What your diners see

The public menu, installing it as an app, and when your changes go live.

Your menu lives at delimenu.co/your-identifier and opens on any phone without installing anything. That link and the QR code lead to the same place.

What your customer sees

  • Your logo and banner in the header.
  • Category navigation, which stays pinned to the top as they scroll.
  • Product cards with photo, name, description and price.
  • A product detail view when they tap one, with variants and add-ons.
  • A cart, if you have WhatsApp ordering enabled.
  • A share button, which uses the phone's native share sheet or copies the link.

If the WhatsApp switch is off, everything above still works but without a cart or order button: it's a read-only digital menu.

It can be installed as an app

Your menu is an installable app (a PWA), using your logo as its icon. Useful for regulars and for your own floor staff.

  • Android: the browser shows an install prompt.
  • iPhone: tap the Share icon and choose "Add to Home Screen".

When your changes go live

On their own. There's no "publish" button. You change a price, save, and the public menu updates.

If you just changed something and don't see it, reload the page: the customer's browser may hold the previous version for a moment.

How to test it as a customer would

Don't just look at it from your dashboard. Open it:

  1. From another phone, not yours.
  2. In a private window.
  3. On mobile data, not the restaurant's wifi.

That's how you actually check loading speed and whether your photos are too heavy.

FAQ

Does my menu show up on Google? It's a normal public page, so it can be indexed. The most effective step, though, is putting the link on your Google Business profile.

Can I use my own domain? Not yet. Today the address is delimenu.co/your-identifier.

Does it work offline? It needs a connection to load the up-to-date menu.
